Let us do the hard work for you

Many other agencies will just send you lots of CV's and expect you to sift through them all. At Nannyplus we will personally filter candidates and then provide you with a selected shortlist of suitable candidates, together with a personal Portfolio Pack for each one. These packs contains all you need to know about the candidate, including their qualifications, a DBS check (previously known as a CRB), thorough reference checking that we have undertaken (we don’t just accept written references; we will personally call and speak to the referees), first aid, insurance and where applicable Ofsted registration information.

Perhaps just as importantly, the pack also provides a real insight into the candidate’s personality and their individual views and approach to childcare, because we have spent the time interviewing and undertaking references in order that we get to know what makes our candidates tick.

Once you have selected your chosen candidates for interview our friendly team will support you through the entire recruitment process. We can also provide clear advice on interviewing, recruitment law, working conditions, salary packages, payroll, Ofsted, nanny insurance contracts of employment and statutory obligations.

Only the very best will do

At Nannyplus we have very high standards and only recruit the very best candidates. The majority of our Nannies hold professional childcare qualifications (see qualifications), we insist on all candidates having a verifiable track record. We are renowned in the industry for our highly rigorous vetting procedure and Competency based interviews. We always ensure that one of our highly experienced team personally interviews each candidate for a minimum of 2 hours, see recruitment process.

Photo of baby in a cotThen, we personally follow up on the last 3 years of work history for a candidate, seek a minimum of 2 quality references, and thoroughly check all the candidate’s original documentation.

If there are any gaps in employment history, then we investigate those and we will take the time to counsel candidates on their genuine suitability for positions. We know it’s in everyone’s best interest to be as thorough and dedicated throughout this process, to ensure satisfaction for both you and the candidates.

Your Child’s safety is paramount

Security is of course our No. 1 concern and our service guarantees the very highest standards of reference checking and efficiency. We advise that all of our candidates are checked by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), (previously called the Criminal Records Bureau) and we have the authority to undertake these checks on your behalf.

We actively encourage all our nannies to register under the new Government Childcare Initiative, which could result in financial benefits for you as an employer.
